If Schumaker investigates ‘the mysteries’, Johanna Jordan explores the future. Her hollow, non-objective abstracted form floats silently through space hanging from the ceiling. Made of cut, filed, bent and welded aluminum, it is sleek, full of tension, contrast and intrigue. One can’t help thinking of spacecraft, satellites, and ‘2001: A Space Odessy’.
